Sub Zero is awesome for me - prolly because of his easy combos to pull off lol.

Also for any Sub Zero players, they have his classic fatality

F D F Triangle on PS3 gets you classic head rip... just tried it out and it works!
Edit: Only works if you bought from Best Buy and got the Classic Sub Zero DLC.

For some reason it took me way longer to beat him the first time then the second.

Shao Khan and Goro were easy for me with Sub Zero when I figured out what to do for them. With subzero I just backed them in the corner and then just spammed Y until they died. His Y,Y,Y combo is really strong and I just kept doing it over and over.

I haven't gotten to him in story mode yet, I am Scorpion right now trying to beat the guys in the temple, Cyrex and the other guy. I am on easy and I just can;'t do it.

Yep that was the one.

I eventually would just teleport -> uppercut everytime he tried to throw his spear or hammer or he taunted... other than that, I just kept a full screen distance away from him until I had Xray ready.

Just spam fireballs from across the screen and you will win easy - took me 3 tries before I figured that one out.

Also, if you hit Xray, go right into bicycle kick after xray to increase your combo damage.

Anyone have the 360 version? If not, this goes for those PS3 users as well who use the thumb stick.

Do you guys notice the sensitivity for the thumbstick just way too high. I barely touch the thing and it goes a million times.

well i just finished story mode, and damn this game is awesome. exactly what a Mortal Kombat reboot should be. and i still have the ladder matches to go through with every character for their ending, plus the challenge ladder. there's a ton of content in this game, well worth the $60

and ya Shao Khan is one cheap POS, you just have to keep trying until you figure out what combo works best for each character. teleport for Raiden in the story mode is key

Agreed, this is the best Mortal Kombat game ever. Everything about it is awesome, TONS of content in this game.

I do find the joystick to be pretty sensitive as mentioned above.

Goro is easy, air attacks and ranged attacks. combos are useless on him as most of the time his attacks won't be interrupted by yours

I just use the flame with Scorpion to kil Shoa khan. He just gloats and laughs so I set him on fire. Ahahahah!!

Goro I more or less do the same. I find Goro harder than Shoa Khan.
