I was thinking of heading down and photographing the gong show.
Though, I hate the possibility of damaging my gear in the process (if things got out of hand).

I'm honestly thinking of going down and seeing if enough people go to drown out the White Supremacists. Quite honestly, nothing would please me more than seeing 1000 Supremists show up and 5000 counter protesters.

Are the white supremacists cool if a non-white guy marches with them?

It'd be better if nobody showed up...no media, no counter-protest, no cops. Nothing.

I like the humourous counter-protests that are happening these days, so if you do go down, take a funny sign.

As a Chinese person, I really don't see how this is any different then a bunch of chinese people celebrating their racial pride by celebrating chinese new years. let them protest in peace.

I am assuming you aren't that familiar with the white supremacist movement? Or what the word "supremacy" means?

I'm not familiar with Chinese New Year celebrations.
Are white people not welcome?
Is the major theme of the celebration "Get White People Out of Canada"?
Is there, I don't know, something like "The Feast Of Chinese Racial Supremacy"?
If so, then yeah, there is no difference.

The people protesting are from the same group who went bar to bar on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton harrassing and assaulting anyone of color including assaulting a woman simply on the basis of the color of their skin.
