My goodness I'm very surprised that kid got up! I guess he narrowly missed the impact being on his head.

The big guy didn't just drop him, he swung him into the ground.

Wow!

Nice to see that kid get what he deserved. Pick on someone bigger than you, risk getting in some big pain.

Could an addendum be added, perhaps, to the thread title? It should read "...or this puck luck fellow"

Would he still be a bully if the kid he was harassing wasn't fat? Maybe the fat kid is the bully, and the skinny kid finally stood up for him self?

Bully is the most mis-used word in our society. Any one who beats up another kid is labeled a bully. In my grade 12 foods class years ago a fat kid in my class attacked me for laughing at his cookies that he burnt, and I was the one who was suspended because I got the upper hand on him, and the principal called me a bully even though the fat kid attacked me. So if the fatty would have beat me up would he have been considered the bully? or can fat kids that look like geeks not be bullies?

I don't buy the story that the kid was a bully at all. Who knows what happened between them before that incident.

just watching that battle I knew the big kid was going to waste on that little sh*t. Interesting how his buddy wanted to fight the fat kid after he power slammed the little puke to the ground.

Seriously the little turd punched the kid in the face fair is fair, he lost

I wish the big kid did the same to his buddy

the little kid was fighting way out of his class as he gave up both lbs and height - the little kid clearly had a pair of bad idea jeans on......

Bullying is largely psychological. I remember this little twerp Ken used to torment me. One day I finally realized I was twice his size, and put the boots to him, and he never bothered me again.

even though I was the skinny kid that was bullied by the bigger kid, watching this video does give me a sweet sense of vigilante justice

Mind you I never helped my cause by being the skinniest kid on the playground who was a die hard Flames fan in a sea of Habs fans. Perhaps if the Flames didn't suck through the 90's my childhood would have been a bit easier, as I certainly couldn't take on a big 8 year old, heck I still can't

dumbest part of the article

At Deadspin, commenter Spiritus Mundi asks perhaps the most pertinent question: “So are we all going to be in Casey’s corner when he comes to school wielding a gun?”
Casey's actions could have prevented him from doing just that. now that he's not an easy target, he'll likely have a better time at school and will be less likely to snap and start shooting. what does that Mundi idiot think would happen if the kid just continued to take the abuse?

This is what I wanted Chara to do to that Patchaspagehtti after he gave him a shot in the back, in a previous game.

Don't bug the big guy they have good memories.

Why is it that people in authority do absolutely nothing when bullying occurs and then punish the victim when he defends himself?

They should have suspended the bullies and the kids that were laughing instead of Casey- or body-slammed them all to the ground.
