Can't find any of the best ones on Youtube, but some of the funniest Norm MacDonald stories have been told by then fellow SNL cast member Jim Breuer during his stand-up act. Breuer just loved Norm back in the day and loves talking about all the crazy stuff he used to pull, I've heard some beauties on Sirius Raw Dog. Apparently neither were big fans of Chris Kattan.

I thought death on Family Guy was played by Adam Carolla.

Huge Norm fan, was at one of his shows last weekend and also when he did Flames Central some time back, both shows were incrdible.

Troutman, what did you think of the middle comic? I loved how he just kept going with the religious material, relentless. On the Sat late show some c opened her yap trying to heckle. No doubt she was some whacko, wish I was sitting closer so I could have told her to shut up.

I was at the late show sat night, that chick yelling "you suck!!" was the funniest part during the middle comic....
The host of the evening was pretty good - anyone remember his name?
Norm was outstanding of course, i really enjoyed it and am now excited for this new show

Dirty Work was a great underrated comedy. Glad to see him get on TV again.

I love me some Norm MacDonald - missed his show last week but hearing about this made me feel better about that. Can't wait.

A no-talent housewife yelling out "you suck" at a comedy show is the complete opposite of funny. First off it's unimaginitive and hack and second no one paid to hear some random woman ruin the show. Norm brought the guy along to open up so shut your mouth. Like a pro he calmly handled her with a call back of the "I'll pray for you" line.

I need to find that midle comic's name, he was pretty damn good. Not laugh out loud goofy material but subtle and scathing on religion in the vein of Carlin.

Stevie Ray Fromstein. He also opened for Norm when he was at Flames Central two years ago. He was heckled on Friday too, but someone in the audience countered with, "Shut up, he's funny". The crowd applauded this, which was cool because Stevie Ray is funny. But he's probably not the best fit for a room full of drunks wanting to hear dick jokes. They get easily offended when a comedian makes them think.

I didn't think the middle comic was funny. Religion is silly - yes we got it. Do you have any other jokes? He was bombing, but his response to the heckler was good. I bet he gets to use that line all of the time.

He also had to remember his routine from a little note pad.

A little sensitive are we???
Here's a reason why nobody was laughing out loud- he wasn't funny. I was actually bored sitting there listening to him talk about religion.
Carlin would smack you if he could, for mentioning him in the same sentence as this guy.
Some random heckles him and all he can come up with is "I'll pray for you"? Call me old fashion but a real comedian would have made her feel like crawling into a hole after blurting something so unoriginal out during a bit. And ya i agree, saying "you suck" isn't funny at all- thats just how bad his act was.

Sensitive? What the hell are you talking about? I have no vested interest in the guy, didn't even rememeber his name. Had a great set though and he is definitely influenced by Carlin, no fault in pointing that out.

The "I'll pray for you" line was all he needed, were you expected a Kinison scream with some foaming at the mouth? Maybe a "get 'er done" would have won you over. His whole act was understated, didn't even flinch when that woman opened her maw, just delivered the line, got a huge laugh and moved on.

The whole "shut your mouth" comment made you seem a little sensitive on the subject imo.

I agree with DownInFlames though, probably not the best fit for his material. That's great you enjoyed it, seems like your the minority for sure. Nobody i was with thought he was funny.

And ya "get 'er done" would have been a perfect response to "you suck", it's funny and it makes sense....
