I agree. As soon as Obama brought a whiff of socialism into the country with a national health program, it seemed to bring out a pretty extreme reaction.

I think it was as soon as Obama brought a shade of slightly darker skin into the oval office that the extreme reaction came out.

I watched/read American news for maybe 20 minutes today. I saw this crazy story from South Dakota. I read another story about how some nuts in Mississippi are lobbying for a commemorative license plate for a grand wizard of the KKK. On CNN tonight some ###### from Montana is still going on about Obama's birth certificate.

We've got a lot of rural conservatives in Alberta -- these Yanks make them look like the Merry Pranksters.

For an abortion debate.

And I would like to open the debate by using the bolded examples as reasons for condoning abortion.

Anderson Cooper was hilarious last night. I loved the southern redneck rolling his eyes when the professor from Princeton was speaking. If you're going on national tv, at least make an effort to conceal your overt racism.

The birther debate was even funnier, apparently whats good enough for the passport office and federal government isnt good enough for Montana.

Scary.

As with any other case of justifiable homicide, for it to be justifiable under this interpretation, I would think the killer would have to show there was an immediate threat - i.e.: he would have to kill the doctor as the abortion is being performed. Otherwise it is just garden variety murder.

That said, in every other situation, someone trying to harm a fetus would also be trying to harm the mother, so this bill is completely unnecessary, except to pose a threat to abortion doctors.

So, would there be an official hunting season with a bag limit? Or did they not discuss specifics?
