Really? Homeland Security is nothing more than the MPAA's thugs?

True, but the leagues want you paying for Centre Ice, Extra Innings and Sunday Ticket.

That said, it took all of six seconds to find the new URL. Good luck on this one, homeland security.

I'm sure they will bomb the Samoa government over this one.

Hey Homeland Security - how about protecting the U.S. from terrorists instead of stopping people from watching hockey games?

I didn't think ATDHE hosted anything? They're still allowed to seize domains in that case?

You're right - they don't host anything and just link to content. And they must have completely given up on Bin Laden if this is what "homeland security" is doing to pass the time.

CBC streams more and more games all the time.
More exposure, more revenue.

Meh, this site used to be important to me when all Flames games were not broadcast. Now with CBC, TSN, SN and SN Flames and no PPV, who cares....

I still use it when my wife is watching the TV and the Flames game is on. As soon as Telus updates to Mediaroom 2.0 and allows the PC to be used as another set top box it becomes useless to me.

Wow, my wife never attempts to boot me off the TV when a Flames game is on. That is legitimate grounds for divorce.

Leagues are getting closer to giving us what we want, but the problem with the packages like CI (which I've had and REALLY enjoyed) is the local blackouts.

I happily paid $150(ish) for a year's worth of CI last year. Oddly enough though, I'd of paid $150 for ONLY Calgary Flames hockey.

Well this sucks how the MPAA/RIAA lawyers are running the US now. Didn't Obama just appoint another one to government?

So ATDHE is a threat to national security? WTF?

i totally agree - i have no problem paying for the center ice/game center package from shaw

the only sucky thing with living in bc is that when the flames play the canucks we're stuck with the stupid sportsnet pacific feed.

for those peter loubardias haters out there - try listening to john shorthouse - he is brutal... like kevin weekes brutal!

I agree. The only time that a site like that is useful (to me) is when you're, for example, when you're out of town temporarily and thus out of your broadcast region. Since getting my Slingbox last year, however, I can essentially watch my own cable box remotely, so it is a non-issue.

If I was permanently outside of the Flames region, I wouldn't have any qualms about dropping the coin on Centre Ice or Game Centre. I'd rather have the reliability and quality of that over web feeds that are sometimes hit and miss.

That being said, "homeland security" being involved is laughable.
