Cool. This is a great idea, but I may be a bit restricted as I'm in London which is 7 hours ahead.

It appears your first game is full, but I'd be interested in participating at some point in the future.
I'll sign up for the club. If anyone can't make the next league game, I could always participate. PM me if a spot opens up.
If you have more than 10 people, any thoughts of running a multi-table mini-tourney?
(I'm also not a fan of rebuys; it makes people play silly and multiplies the massive suckouts a thousandfold)

What night this week is best for everyone?
EDIT - I've just started setting up and $20 + $2 rebuy is the max buyin I can do. It's unlimited rebuys for the first hour and I am going to make it deep stacks. I've emailed Pokerstars and told them we'd like to do a $50 buyin, so hopefully they allow it.

Tuesday/Thursdays work best for me, provided there isn't a flames game on.
Would prefer to keep it around 20 dollar buyin with occasional maybe 50 once a month with no rebuy

I haven't looked much into the home games, but are there limits on how many people can join and/or play at one time? It seems pretty easy to have 100 people in the league and you play with between 3-100, depending on who shows up. Stats are kept based on your results and all we have to worry about is having enough money in our account to buy in each time. If the rules on the home game go against what I just said, appologies for my laziness to look it up.

The only limit is that I have to approve the player before the tournament starts so they can sign up for it. As it stands now there are 14 players (2 tables) so it would be a decent pot.
I am thinking about having the first one on Saturday, Jan 29th at 11am Mountain.
Buyin - $22 + rebuys at $20
Starting chips - 5000
Breaks every hour for 5 minutes
Blinds increase every 10 minutes
Top 15% gets paid.
I've submitted the first tournament and I think it might just be easiest to keep a rigid schedule so that even if minimum 2 players want to get league points they can. Obviously if only one player signs up for any given week the game is cancelled.
EDIT - They've set a maximum player registration at 2000 for each tournament. I doubt we will ever get that many people.

Hey FM, I see you have a couple ring tables set up as well?
If anyone wants to play for a bit I'll be sitting at the 0.25/0.50

Yeah, I do. The highest I could put the blinds was .25/.50 though. I've emailed Pokerstars to try and get some 1/2 tables in there.

I'm out of town this Saturday so I can't make it.
Me personal tournament preference is no rebuys and no add-ons, but either way not a big deal.

Sorry - birth class reunion Saturday at 12. Best time for me is late Friday or late Saturday (like 9-10pm). That way I can play while "looking after" the Junior Impaler.
P.S. I will sign up - keep forgetting.

Either way is fine. If enough people don't register I just cancel the tournament and move it to another day. I guess really the best way is to just create a poll and people can vote on what day is best.

We were supposed to play on Saturday, but I had to cancel the tournament for work
I will try and get a poll set up for which day is best. We've got 16 players now, so 2 tables. I will also make sure it's not rebuy.
More details to come later.
