This is sad.
It is sad that there is no better party to vote for. Well the Green I guess, but not a party that actually has a chance to win.

I would vote Liberal again. I would vote green, but it would be a vote wasted that could have helped against a conservative.

The Green Party? Is that where people gather and share the merger pickings from their nostrils?

I'd vote Liberal again. I don't vote for individiuals mainly because I feel all politicians are driven my self interest so no matter what, I'd wind up disappointed. So instead, I vote for party policies. The sponsorship scandal is a bit of a disappointment, but I also realize that it happened like more than 10 years ago...
Also, I agree with more Liberal views (le.g. legalizing same-sex marriage) and I disagree with more Conservative views (e.g. uh....not wanting to legalize same-sex marriage).
Plus, I'd rather vote in general. I come from a country where people are stripped of that priviledge and suffer for it, so I feel like I'm insulting my roots by not voting.

P.S. The green party aren't hippies anyway. They're actually fairly conservative from the financial perspective and get lower rankings on their environmental policies than the NDPs.
Where are these rankings? Who did them?[/b][/quote]
This was according to Greenpeace and some other environmental organizations that were doing comparisons at about the time of the election.
They gave the green party slightly lower marks than the NDP however after some searching I've found that they upgraded the Green parites marks last June and they now rank all 3 NDP, Green & the Bloc fairly well, with Libs and Conservatives poor.
My credit to the Green for picking up their grades.

Apparently a lot of the rats are staying on the sinking ship. Should we save them or remove their life support system?

I've got no problem with people posting and defending their opinion, no matter how much I disagree with them, but your posts have now completely devolved into outright trolling.

I completely agree.

I don't understand the whole vote for the Liberals push that seems to be going around. Corruption is not something that I think should be tollerated, no matter what the other policies are. If they're going to be arrogant enough to think that they can get away with whatever they want, they should be put out to pasture. It's what happened with the Mulroney govt and it's exactly what should happen with the current band of Liberals.

But that's besides the point. Some of the insults going around are just going too far.

I just don't see anything in Harper and his band of conservatives to sway me over. And I would have voted NDP when I was in university, but not anymore.

That said, they should gut those responsible for the mess.
