Obviously not a must win but if Flames are serious about being a top team in the Conference (and they can be), need to keep racking up the W’s.

This is Calgary Puck. Every game is must win.
Win = start the parade planning.
Lose = blow it up, fire the coaches and trade everyone for picks.

Serious question; of any of the West conference teams the Flames played this year, have the Flames looked outmatched in the majority of facets of the game over 60 mins, in any of those games?

They haven’t looked outmatched in any game this year. Have they played some poorer games? Yes. But IMO they’ve never looked outmatched.

In my experience:
Win = the GM is an idiot because he can't re-sign these players and they're all going to leave town.
Lose = the GM is an idiot for signing these bums in the first place.

Has Ritchie had any practice time? Sutter doesn’t like starting guys who just get to the team from the minors or off injury.

Ritchie at his best is better than Pitlick at his best. Pitlick at his worst is better than Ritchie at his worst.
Personally, I would roll the dice with Ritchie.

^^ none of these “would Ritchie be worse than…” posts has any bearing on my point, which is that Sutter never throws someone in like that.
Plus Sutter loves Pitlick dogging the puck up and down the ice.

Ritchie is an upgrade on Pitlick. Hits harder, better on the boards, faster, fights and marginally better offensively.
