In all likelihood I probably did. But the fact that I don't have to spend time I don't have on a suit with unknown legal fees and consequences was worth it. The extra bonus of creating a positive outcome from it that turned into a licensing agreement also didn't hurt. I accepted the nice little Christmas bonus and moved on....

My family stopped doing gifts a few years ago and I love it. I spoil myself on boxing day.
But for my friend's family I snuck to his house at 2AM and left a note from Santa saying he couldn't get down his chimney and had to put the gift in the truck canopy. All day long they had NO idea who bought them a Kinect. I finally spilled the beans in the evening to the mom but their daughter is still convinced it was Santa. Best gift moment ever....maybe it's time to think about having kids.
