At this rate, by 2020, I expect the entire CBS primetime lineup to be 1970/80s reboots, NCIS and Big Bang Theory spinoffs, Survivor, The Amazing Race, and 60 Minutes.
No one under 45 watches network TV. With streaming services and premium cable they realize their time is nearly up and are doing whatever they can to stay relevant. Expect 30 second spots of "i've fallen and i can't get up", the bathtub with the door and those stair chair things.

True, but isn’t half of what they watch old tv shows from the 90s on Netflix?

Under age 49 Grey's Anatomy last week = 2.2/9 rating/share.
25% of their audience. Obviously me saying "no one" was hyperbole but that's 2 million viewers, and it's the highest rated show. Those numbers aren't great.

I used to watch Matlock during the odd sick day as a kid. Not a bad show actually. Real bumpin' theme song too.
I have hilarious memories of terrible old TV shows because we used to visit some family in Ontario some summers and it was so, so boring. They had a crappy old TV that got 2 channels on the ol' rabbit-ears and one channel would show Knight Rider at 2:30 every day.
I also used to watch Matlock with my grandmother. I dont know why but she hated Matlock. Loved the show, hated the character.
She once said: "Matlock would be a much better show if Matlock wasnt in it."
She was a crazy old lady but I miss her.

My wife has been watching that show for years so I have had to endure watching bits here and there. Just an awful show but I suppose women in particular love these hospital dramas. Such a bad show though.
