Anyone play the Who Framed Roger Rabbit game?

You would be going along all normal playing the game and all of a sudden, with no warning the weasels would attack you in their car and bam, Game Over.

It was like the original GTA type game though for nes.

And i just saw Angry game nerd video which reminded me of back to the future.

Jeebus, i could rant about this all day!

I can name a couple.

Kid Icarus. May not really be a hard game but I always got so stuck on an early level (maybe even the 1st).

Paperboy. Weird and hard. Weird because... well you're a paperboy.

Thexder. It was a Sierra game that was made for PC but I think also had a version for Nintendo. I played the PC version and it was hard to get very far.

Yup, right in 1-1 there's a 7 or 8 jump sequence where if you are wrong about your momentum, you die.

No fun watching relatives get stuck on that one section for like an hour.

A stupid game that pissed me off endlessly was this surfing and skateboarding game. It was supposed to rival the Skate or Die game. T&C Skateboarding or something, I can't remember, I'm not sure I want to remember.

There would be these holes in the ground, red barrels and debris and if you hit one then game over, back to the beginning. Never made it through Level 1.

Wow, I've never met anyone else ever that knows about Thexder.

I've spent a long time trying to find the theme music for the PC one as I want it as a ringtone.

Hey I found it!

You can play the NES version online.

I played that too, never did get more than 1/2 way through the game. As I recall, it just kept speeding up and up until finally it hit the threshold where your reflexes failed to keep up.

Wasn't the theme music Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata? I don't even remember the theme music in the clip you posted.

No one has mentioned Battletoads yet, what an awesome game.

I don't remember getting far in Thexder either.

Who Framed Roger Rabbitt pissed me off to no end. I could get so close to the end, with my eys closed, but there was always something that stopped me from completing it. I only have a vague recollection of the game so I can't remember exactly what it was.

Angry Nintendo Nerd did a video on it, but Top Gun 1 & 2 for the NES was just impossible.
I never landed before in either of the games.
I played 2 more, and I only got to the 2nd boss once

Also, I remember Total Recall for the NES being downright impossible

The trick with landing on Top Gun was lining up the bottom of the hud reticle with the top of the flight deck on the carrier.

Also, Bubble bobble for the NES was frustrating especially the end boss and getting the "real" ending. Unless someone got the crystal ball on level 99 it was a bad end. Wound up using level skip codes for that.

Zaxxon 2 when it came out in the arcade. The owner of the place had the difficulty level set ridiculously high. 2 quarters got you about 3 minutes playing time.

I remember being able to get past that level a couple times Russic. The almost instantaneous death on the next level quickly killed any desire to go through it again.
