I suppose this is now unofficially the St. Paddy's thread this year. Happy St. Pats fellas! (and ladies) Best dang day of the year. Planning on being at the pub by 1:30, I play for keeps!

I am heading there right NOW! I play for everyone (literally).
Thanks all for the suggestions. There were definitely some that I didn't have and will use.
Beauty, I hope the music at the place we're going to has the same belief in using authentic tunes as you are. One of my only requests on St. Pats is authentic Irish music, and none of that slow, cry me a river stuff either. I want Ashley MacIsaac-type speed, man that stuff makes me wanna booze. Such a letdown when the bar you're at doesn't play Irish tunes.

The Dubliners are fantastic if you want nonsad Irish music.

Kent Brockman: Ladies and gentlemen, what you are seeing is a total disregard for the things St. Patrick's Day stand for. All this drinking, violence, destruction of property. Are these the things we think of when we think of the Irish?
Kent Brockman: Top of the morning to ye on this gray, grizzly afternoon. Kent O'Brockman live on Main Street, where today everyone is a little bit Irish, except, of course, for the gays and the Italians.
