ok, so apprently you get several free packs.

thank goodness in my recent one, i got a couple defensemen including an nhler jonathon ericsson! got my first wings player!

So I caved and bought packs with microsoft points...no fun playing HUT with a bunch of people I don't know. I only had one AHL player (swift) in my original pack and 5d.

i grinder and a playmaker! it wasnt my fault! i have 6 dmen now. 4L and 2R. though i apparently got a couple teammates as they now have 94 chemistry!

Are you able to pick a friend to play against in HUT? Or is it all random online matches?

i am also wondering how easy it can be to trade cards with friends. i was thinking perhaps with all the fatas they would be willing to make trades with me so i can get more red wings players! figured if its between friends, it would be a lot simpler to come to fair trades.

I just fired up be a gm mode...

...when going into your first contract negotiations, if someone's RFA deal is expiring, and you don't want to re-sign them, select them and say release to ufa, otherwise they're viewed as "competition" for your other rfa's, who will turn down contracts you offer them (undoubtedly due to roster size etc). Ryan Howse was a being a real !@#$% until I figured this out...then he accepted his first contract.

so apparently the bauer boost pack isnt the same as last year. instead of unlocking all the slots like it did, it apparently gives you the boost pack for whatever build you are. (like the gold boost pack from last year) thats what people over at OS are saying. gamestop was dumb and couldnt give me mine till the manager comes in after 1. so i have no idea personally.

Picked my copy up at 10am, line-up of like 8 guys inside, and when I left there was still about 10 left behind me (more kept coming). The guy in front of me was texting his friend and I oversaw one that said "You should see all the losers in the line, lol". I chuckled with myself because you're in that line-up buddy. Idiots.

Picked mine up at Wal-Mart at Northland Mall. Longer line up at Tim Horton's then anywhere else there, Best Buy, Futureshop, EB. I walked by the EB just as it was opening and the guy opened with no customers. Poor fella.

All you get is the equipment and an unlocked +3 for wrist shot accuracy.

Just signed Iggy to a 35 game contract. So happy to have him.

I have a jacked first line with Gagne-Roy-Iggy. But my defense and goalie are complete garbage, aside from Kent Huskins!

My first NHL 11 goal was scored by none other than.. Tim Jackman! My HUT is pretty crappy too, Alexandre Giroux is my best player and I have a 39 year old German D-man haha, but I love the whole Ultimate Team thing, played the hell out of it on FIFA this year.
