I am not a fan of ios7 and I had read it would slow down my 4S so I did not upgrade.

iOS may be good...it may function, but for what you have to pay for it, its crap.

None but I read internet and Android threads and just as you are aware that there have been numerous issues. Please lets not take this thread where I think you may take it.

Problem was fixed briefly, now it's back. iOS 7 devices are worse than AIDS again.

IOS7 seems to be breaking some people's Outlook contacts here. Missing contacts, syncs not working. Anybody see behavior like this?

Thought so. Saying "much more" is silly, on either side. I think 4.4 (the "latest kitkat") has had some issues but it seems to be ironing out. 4.4.1 was released the other day and I actually just got 4.4.2 on my Nexus 4 about half an hour ago.

I can't really speak to the latest iOS issues since I don't own any iOS devices anymore. I've toyed with it some, seems like the same ol' boring iOS with a new skin but beyond that it would be hard to state flatly it had more issues then any other OS unless I've played with it. I think you've seen responses like this from posters like pylon because they've been so used to their Apple products "just working" that it's frustrating when they see hiccups.

The real lesson here is never upgrade unless there is meaningful feature you want to use. Or at least wait until the bugs are worked out. Nothing wrong with waiting 3 or 4 months to upgrade and deciding if its actually an upgrade or just slighly more rounded corners on icons.

Had the same issue, I closed Safari completely with multitasking and re-opened it and it fixed it.

How do you leave with that stupid red dot on the settings button. It drives me bananas.

Great advice... But I'd never be able to do it.

I never update anything so I guess I just get used to it. I can go for a few days at work with the You need to reboot your computer window popping up in windows. The secret is to hide it just off the screen so it doesn't keep popping up.

As I grow older I have become more and more resistant to change (a terrible trait) so rarely upgrade anything.

Install the Celcius App. It uses badges to show the temperature, so you do get used to it.

Pylon, I'm still running iOS 6 if you need me to test something. I also have iOS 7 on my new iPad.
