Yea, a Kulak and Culkin pairing on the PP unit would be pretty sweet.

The Reinhart line is looking decent to start.

Nice to see Wotherspoon using his size to take more shots. The last 3 or 4 games, he's let a few bombs go from the point and they guys in front can chip away at it.

Wow, that kid just bounced off Sieloff. I didn't catch the name, but they looked pretty matched for size. He skates up to Sieloff for the hit and Sieloff remains standing while this guys stick goes flying.

Flames leading the shots 10-5. 5 of our shots have come from the defence.

I'll take it. Can't expect too much given their tough schedule through this stretch.

Yea, I wonder how this stretch will turn out.
I'm not going to sit here saying I like or will happily accept losses, but the schedule is NOT favourable to them and fatigue is going to become an issue at some point. I hope they can continue to work hard during this stretch and be competitive rather then play flat games like they did on Friday. If they are pushing a team right to the end in a 1-2 game, that loss would be easier to understand.

The Arnold/Poirier/Baertschi line buzzing early in the 2nd.
They had a nice 3 on 2, but did a little too much passing to get a good shot.

Flames kill off the penalty without letting the Marlies have any real chances to score.

10 minutes into the 2nd and there have been a total of 4 shots between the two teams.
Tells you all you need to know about the pace of this game.

Poirier gets hooked, but no call is made. That was a pretty obvious hook too.

Well, there's been one more SOG in the last 4 minutes.
That's really about it.

Flames picking it up a little bit here. Wolf and Vause with a chance in the Marlies zone, but Vause shoots it wide.
We have some pushing and shoving and crosschecking going on. A Marlies player is holding onto a ref that's standing over a Flames player.

Carrick vs Tousignant.
Tousi's had enough. He's just beating down this kid. Tousi slips and ends up on a knee and the refs break it up.

Ferland and Ross sitting in the box with off-setting minors.
Only penalties up so far.
