It's funny but the Tkachuk trade doesn't bother me nearly as much as the Bennett trade does. They basically gave Bennett away for free, at least they have Weegar.
Anyways, all is forgiven now anyways. They did what the universe needed them to do.

I don't think Calgary realized what they had in Sam Bennett, he goes to Florida and he has a coach who understands him and how to reign his game in a little bit, now he's got confidence and now accomplishing big things. I hope this is a lesson to the Calgary Flames organization that they need to give these guys more opportunity. Too many times Flames were handling the way that didn't really reflect on his confidence.

What a beaut. This is what forever a flame should be used for. Players once with organization that continue to do good for our team after leaving. I would put Andrew Ference up there too.

Even though Tkachuk screwed us on the last contract he signed, made a power play to be capitan and when didn't get it, was gone, his time in Calgary was memorable and knows how passionate we as Flames fans and Calgarians are vs the Oilers and Edmonton.
So glad he acknowledged it.
