In France the 15% gratuity is included in every price, it's french law. I would tip a bit extra if the service was exceptional but as i stated, it is not.

What's the tipping protocol for $500 of pizza delivered to a big party? No, none of you reprobates are invited.

Usually when I order that much pizza and the deliver guy gets there I yell out behind me if everyone chipped in for the tip.
That way he doesn't know I'm alone and ordered it for myself.

I would say probably $20 per delivery person; up to a max of a $50 tip. That is assuming they are there less than 5 minutes. If they have to stay longer as you are running around finding the guy with money, where to put them etc, increase accordingly.

At lunch, my waitress took my drink and food order, but everything was brought to me by other people. She didn't bring the debit machine at the end, another person did.
Should she get a normal tip (assuming she shares with the other staff)?

They probably all just pool it at places like that. At least that's what I assume.
I don't like the collective serving approach.

I've started ordering takeout because an extra 15-20% on my largest non-housing expense is definitely adding up. Plus then I can eat it at home in front of my tv.

Thanks, the money will be in hand and there will be one delivery person.
We'll have our own plates, napkins, etc.

How will the increase of minimum wage to $15 affect your tipping?
I'll probably go from tipping 15-20% to 10%.

Forty-four pizzas for over 100 people. We have everything else but the food.

So, I love tipping.
Putting extra money on my bill... love it!
Really, there's nothing better.
I'm going to give 20 percent to everyone!
Never less than 15, unless they hate acrostic poetry.
Go servers!
Sail on the wind!
1 job to do.
