Trudeau, Anand, and Joly banned from entering Russia. That’s really unfortunate for them.

So aside from switching conscripts to professional soldiers immediately prior to the invasion, Russians appear to be using cadets in Ukraine. This hasn't been confirmed anywhere else yet tho but would line up with horrible morale of Russian soldiers, reports of Russian soldiers begging for food, telling fleeing Ukrainians they didn't even want to be there, etc.

Wonder how long it'll before Russia puts out commissars and political officers to "up" morale.

At first glance, I thought her lawyer was Howie Mandel.

Is this lady a well known figure in Russia, I mean before all this off course? I am just wondering how much sway she has over public opinion.

We don't need NATO to impose a no fly zone. We can give Ukraine tools to solve their air defense problems. Putins only tool right now is bombing Ukrainians into submission from afar, because his tanks and troops are not getting through. Additionally, I have doubts the Russias on the ground really want to drive their tanks into an urban setting infested with anti tank weapons. It would be a graveyard for them. Maybe a Russian tanker or soldier doesn't want to fight that hard if it means occupying a well equipped and well prepared city.

Israel can donate the iron dome plus other cutting edge ground based close in weapons systems. Rheinmattal has a perfect system to compliment it which uses advanced guns and lasers to hit artillery, rockets, missiles and bombs in flight.

In Iraq the US had their 20mm phalanx defensive cannon (normally on a warship) shooting mortars and rockets out of the sky. They created a special type of ammo for protecting urban settings to minimize collateral damage. We're already arming Ukraine, why can't a bunch of these be set up in the cities? As far as I know they work remotely with their own sensors, just give them ammo and electricity, turn switch from off to on position and watch it do its thing.

I think any additional weapons types and capabilities directly from a NATO country is not a good idea. It would force Putin to have to respond in some way to NATO, his big bad wolf scapegoat, which he probably wants. However if Israel were to supply Ukraine with these tools he can't say Nato is escalating this.

It should all go through Israel. Russia won't mess with Israel, too much on their plates as it is.

I have no idea.

Israels iron dome is ok(just ok) for rudimental ground based missiles from Hamas but would have zero effect against air-launched missiles and supersonic cruise missiles.

Israel, at the request of Ukraine, has been acting as a mediator between Russia and Ukraine. They've been supplying Ukraine with lots of humanitarian aid, but no weapons, including Iron Dome. If they start providing weapons it would end their role as mediator:

Zelenskiy asks Israel to mediate with Russia, Ukraine envoy says
Israel also likely fears reprisal from Russia. If Israel gives weapons to Ukraine, Russia gives weapons to Syria and Hezbollah.

Edit: As Snuffleupagus stated, Iron Dome probably wouldn't even work against more sophisticated Russian missiles.
