Think about the past 4+ years. Think about how grotesque the man in office has acted towards fellow Americans, some war heroes, like John McCain. This speech feels like it was 50 years ago, but it was only 12. It's really incredible to see how far that country has fallen. Hopefully after this election they can get back to stuff like this.

Aw man, this feels like so long ago. And it's weird (in a refreshing way) hearing McCain's supporters clapping and cheering the sentiment of his words. It's incredibly sad to see how far that country has fallen under Trump's presidency.
My hope is that Biden can at least repair some of the damage and bring some much needed decency back to the WH.

I have taken to pointing out to my trumpist contacts on facebook that the real danger to the US is not Biden or dems or BLM or antifa, even riots, all those are passing, the real danger is hating the other side, thinking that the other side is cheating, that 'they' are the real danger to America.
