I think it's a fair enoguh post in this thread to say you tried to quit Twitter, and couldn't even do that. It's a sign Musk is desperately trying to hang on to user numbers, or that the site is so broken you can't even quit anymore. Either option is pretty pathetic.
It's information, not just signalling. In short, fake outrage denied.

Like you wouldn’t do that for a few thousand users a day. Ten thousand? Still probably not. It’s got to be closer to hundreds of thousands a day. Which is kind of crazy.
I’m not much interested in modern histories, but I will read the book about what actually happened here.
I have noticed more websites listing Mastadon under their social network links. It’s probably not much longer for Twitter if you can click on a company’s Twitter account and see anything. Every other social media site lets you view info without logging in.
As for Threads, Zuckerberg must be happy as hell with the downfall of Twitter falling into lap. The whole Metaverse debacle was probably making them pretty nervous.
Facebook/IG scraping insane amounts of personal data? What a surprise! Some people will still cheer for them for some reason though, because it's Zuck vs. Musk and Musk currently holds the title of most evil dude and they're okay with Zuck crushing Musk even though it's Zuck...
You guys keep talking about problems with boys on Twitter and I have no idea. I just know that suddenly a lot of ladies love me on there, for the most inane and innocuous comments!

The relevant bits are the first 2 minutes, and after 9 min. What are the odds they aren't looking for an ROI on their investment in cash, but instead manipulating Twitter to their benefit? Saudi's personal propaganda machine?
