Some guy has a full blown Sail boat. There is guy with three Electric Boat Motors on a dinghy that just fly's out there. A guy I know attached a motorized Winch to his dock and they will use it to water ski/wake board from 100 yards out.

Wait, they "water ski" back in to shore? That sounds incredibly stupid?

Spoiler alert: they’re all Sliver.
Well maybe not the sailboat guy. Sliver definitely seems like a wind is for wimps kinda guy. Maybe a sailboat with 3 onboard motors tho. I could see him doing that.

We used to do that all the time early and late season from the boat. Start at the dock, and either end there, or back to shore if it was the last run. If the docks were in for the season we'd start and end on shore(helped to have a sandy bottom). Kept us warm and dry!

grinds my gears when a manager doubts an answer you've given them. Especially when it's outside of their expertise, but is actually your specialty.
Had to waste time showing them the "proof" why I was right and they were wrong and then they still felt like they had to call a manufacturer, who told them exactly the same thing I did.

Some managers think that it is their job to give you a hard time.

You'd think being unequivocally vindicated would be a good thing as a lesson not to question you in the future, but I guess it depends on the person and whether they'll take lessons of that sort.

Its kinda like talking to your teenage son who thinks he knows everything...
You can tell him whats up...but he's still gonna have to find out on his own sometimes...

Is the Stoney Trail Bow River bridge construction project the slowest bridge build in the history of Western Civilization?

On a scale adjusted basis, I would say the hole on Bow trail and 10th Street, but Fuzz would get mad.

Well a hole isn't really a bridge, now is it? Is that being too pedantic?

The Peace Bridge was only given that name after it endured endless mud slinging. It was a last ditch attempt to get people to lay off the criticism. "How could anyone complain about a bridge if we call it the 'Peace Bridge'?" with the proximity to Memorial Drive, lending weight to it being part of the Memorial to war loses. It was a very transparent cynical political maneuver, but it actually worked to some extent.

Fair. I thought the GG was construction in general. Damn it, Fuzz, foiled again!
