As Iran goes through a potential transition of power, it might be important to remember some of the ridiculous and awful things that have occurred under the theocratic rule of the Ayatollahs. Case in point, this song that The Clash wrote way back in the day about the restrictions on music and freedom of culture.
This song has maybe one of the best mixes of baselines and piano riffs ever. You can hear it in the chorus right after they say "Sharif don't like it". It kills me every time.
