Is it officially not sold out or are you just seeing empty seats? There are always empty seats at Olympic events due to the requirement that a certain number of seats be held for media, athletes, and the "Olympic Family". They try to sell off the ones that won't be used but often there are decent sized chunks of seats left empty.

just goes to show you how important gender equality is. a lot of women don't get the kind of chances to play sports that ours do in other countries

yet every one of those medal winners from Quebec seem pretty damn proud to call themselves Canadian. Brodeur said it best, if there were a separation he would still represent Canada. i have a feeling many of the other athletes would as well

Canada is striking gold 47% of the time they reach the podium. USA - 25%. Canadians come to play, baby.

I have to say I am more of a fan of the womens bobsled now. It's way more crashtacular than the men's.

No Canadians in the ladies aerials. Plenty of Americans, Chinese, Australians, and Belorussians though...

Of our 15 medals:
11 have been won by women
3 by men
1 by man/woman

Without the ladies, we'd be toast!
