This is an extremely frustrating game to watch with RISP.

Good for the Giants. They are coached better, have a better bullpen, and want to win games.

The Jays have a good defensive outfield who pimp catches they don't need to.

Are you allowed to make a hit when players are on base?

Schneider should challenge that. Not sure that’s allowed!

Every game the opposition brings out multiple guys with 2.00 eras from the bullpen

Other then Mayza we have no one who is shutting down the opposition . Even Swanson who looked great early in the season has struggled lately

Feel bad for Gausman. He deserves better. Jays bats are so freaking pathetic.

Jays hitters 191 Ks with RISP most in the American League.

Pathetic. Focking pathetic

I like to think the Jays luck will turn, but after thinking that all season about the Flames and it never actually happening, I'm sure this team will just continue to be what they are and just barely miss the last wild card spot lol

What's the point of paying our current hitting coach if we have to keep bringing in other guys to coach our hitters? (Bichette, Martinez, etc.)
Just replace him already. It's the simple move, and it's needed if nothing more than to shake things up.

The Jays are top 5 or 10 in all of MLB in...

wRC+
Batting average
On base %
Slugging %
OPS

They're 11th in runs scored.

And that's with Kirk and Vladdy really underperforming, which I don't see how that's the hitting coaches fault. Unless he's been force feeding them extra high calorie foods or something.

Saw a report that Manoah came to camp at 320 lbs this year when he was pitching at 290 last year. Even if it was pure muscle (big hint… it wasn’t), that would definitely impact performance.

It’s very disappointing that the guy that we hoped would be the long term ace of the staff didn’t properly prepare himself for the season.
