If Diss is mafia, and he uses his double vote and starseed/Puxlut use their vote that is potentially 3 extra votes floating around.

If Diss is mafia, then it's 8-4 right now. If we don't lynch him and hit town it is 6-4 to start the next day, he uses his vote power and starseed/puxlut put their vote on town then they would have enough votes to lynch.

Why did you not want to vote for dissentowner?

You seemed so sure with your extremely long post with many quotes, you even went so far as to say his lynching today was a foregone conclusion.

Another post you said he was on the top of your list, if you are so sure then why not vote for him?

I did not want to hammer him without allowing people time to discuss it. This has been a pretty standard course of action for most of this game, and HG15 specifically asked for the hammer not to be dropped.

I am sold on lynching him, but there is no rush

Yeah, I was warning people we were close to the lynch because we needed to give Diss time to post. Diss' death posts didn't really sway my opinion though.

Part of it makes me says it makes a lot of sense and part of my just thinks that Diss is trying to save his skin or cause a redirect after he dies.

Thinking about this line

- There is a very high chance that Mazrim would have included a Mason pair in the game.

- There is a chance that one of the mason pair can be mafia.

- There is one thing that has bothered me a little about the MOT thing: During one of the twilight periods, Puxlut (as MOT2) said that she was sure Starseed was town. How can that be the case? Unless she didnt realize that there is a chance he can be mafia and just assumed it?

- If they are mafia, the power to have the twilight chat to disrupt the town still makes sense, and until we had starseed in our sights, it was totally causing chaos. I can't find any power on mafiascum.net which matches this type of power (mafia or town). Anyone able to find it? I highly doubt Mazrim made up a power completely from scratch for this, as pretty much every other power has had some counterpart on mafiascum the best I can find

Mason are usually told they know 100% their partner is town.

I think this goes without saying, but will mention it here anyway, if Diss turns up town, then we should consider it a bit more, but remember not to treat it as certain. If he turns up mafia, I would pretty much consider it as a 'soft' confirmation that Puxlut and Starseed are town.

Not that I'm saying you are wrong, but it was to answer your question how Puxlut could be sure that Starseed was town. If mason, they know each other are town (you can see this in the first game).

Either way, if one is town and the other is mafia and considering this isn't a ####### game they can check their original PM and see if it says that their partner is 100% town.

If both say that their partner is 100% town, we know for a fact they have the same alignment.

The post was intended to outline my thoughts on Diss in case I died at night. I really had no intention of trying to sway the vote today. However, I woke up and it had done just that.

I am not trying to save my skin, I actually think if I die and flip town it will help focus on starseed and puxlut. There has been so many inconsistancies, secrets kept with that, and lies told that I can't see it being a town tool. All it has done has cause chaos and confusion. In all of the early twilights go back and see who they said should be targeted or suspected, especially GGG. Also, as far as there usually being masons there is almost always a cop on our side too. There wasn't. There are so many different roles that can be given out and being masons is the perfect cover as to why they can communicate and work so closely. What else would they claim once they were outed as MOT1 and 2?
