I enjoyed The Witcher. It plodded along at times trying to jam in all the back stories but once I figured out the time lines I really got into it. They have set up a very interesting and immersive world and I am looking forward to future seasons.

Also, Six Underground might be the worst big budget action movie ever made. It lacks a coherent story or any character development being like 70% narration and flash backs with the remaining scenes being every action trope turned up to 11. I spent most of this one either starting at my phone or laughing at how stupid the action and unnecessary gore looked. The action scenes were so dumb featuring bad CGI and quick cuts so you really have no idea what is going on other than crash, boom, explosion! The most hilarious part was the one bad guy who seemed to exist for the sole purpose of adding more explosions to a chase scene. Just so dumb. It's almost like Michael Bay is trolling us by making the most Michael Bay movie ever.

Season 2 of You was absolutely awful.

Yeah I'm thinking of watching The Witcher next too. I'm just not a big fan of fantasy stuff usually, but I loved Witcher 3 and thought Henry Cavill was very underrated as Superman so I'll probably give it a try. Sounds like it's getting great reviews.

The Witcher is the 2nd most watched show in 2019 after Stranger Things. I'm a fan, but I'm surprised they're that high.

The Witcher got the number one show on Australian Netflix with Lunatics 2nd and Stranger Things 3rd.

I'd take those Netflix rankings with a grain of salt though as they are not independently verified and only take into account users watching for at least 2 minutes in the first 28 days of release. For a show like The Witcher which hasn't even been out that long they used a projection.

Definitely a huge gamer bump as well. I don't know if a lot of people know how many people aged teen - 40 years game these days.

Gamers, plus book readers, plus general fantasy genre fans, while starring Cavill and being heavily hyped. Yeah no surprise many Netflix users gave this a try.

It's a great show. The budget was a bit low in the first season, but it improves as the show goes on.

I really enjoyed The Witcher, looking forward to Season 2. I played a bit of the game, going to have to try again I think.

Interesting, my wife and I loved it. Other than maybe the very last scene.

You know what is really bad? "The Fanatic" with John Travolta, that could be the worst thing I have ever seen. My god. It's so bad that you can't even enjoy how bad it is. The entire thing is just awkward to watch. It makes you feel slimy and violated.

I also very much enjoyed You season 2, and agree about the Fanatic wholeheartedly.

I mean, if you willingly choose to watch a movie directed by Fred Durst, don't you kind of deserve every ounce of punishment you get?

The fact that Fred Durst directed it makes me kind of want to try watching it.

I downloaded it a while back, solely for that reason, but then I passed out while trying to watch it and never made a second attempt.

Or starring John Travolta.

Talk about a nose-diving career trajectory.

I want to know how much cocaine someone has to do before agreeing to greenlight and fund a Fred Durst film project.
