Just caught up! This is an amazing show. I wasnt expecting to like it cause I hate zombie crap but this is about zombies as much as breaking bad is about Meth. Its more about the people and how they live in this new world and it's awesome.
I have to say I still think the show peaked in the end of season 2 to the middle of season 3. I thought the second half of season 3 was sort of a let down but season 4 has been great so far. Just not quite as good as that stretch.
I love how this show isnt afraid to kill of characters in the main cast. Really well done.
Started watching a few weeks ago and caught up completely last night. Absolutely amazing show! 5 stars out of 5. As polak mentioned, I love how they aren't afraid to kill off certain characters. I think Daryl Dixon is my favorite character on the show with Rick Grimes 2nd. Can't wait till February for episodes 9-16 of season 4!
Sucks having waited all that time for that. New look into the Michonne character, but other than that I would consider that a pretty anti-climactic return. One of the few episodes I couldn't wait to end.

Feels like they just forgot the zombies are zombies.
Michonne's tactic of the zombie pets shouldn't work when she's shoulder to shoulder with another zombie. Zombie camouflage can't work like that if you want a horde of zombies not masking one another.
If Michonne can just go around taking out two dozen zombies despite being literally surrounded by them, this apocalypse should have lasted about 3 hours before the world was business as usual.
I liked the episode.
Finally a glimpse into Michonnes past, Carl learning he isn't as tough as he thought he was and closure on Hershal & the Govenor.
(I was telling my GF that because they didn't show the shot, maybe Lilly missed and the gov would rise again. LOL she had to wait months to see he was actually done).

I liked it as well. As mentioned, closure on the governor and look into Michonne's past.
I also think the maggots coming out of the zombies was new; does that mean they are finally beging to decay?
The show also took me from saying "See- this is why I hate Carl." (and my wife wishing he would die), to reminding us that in many ways he's just a kid; sitting there eating his pudding.
Personally, I would have also grabbed the hot sauce from the bar. With the food sources available, a little spice sure wouldn't hurt.
It was a meh episode, I didn't expect much to start off the second half of the season. The background on Michonne was worth the watch, pretty cool how they did it all. She actually looked pretty good all dolled up.
If they spent this much time on these guys, then next week we should get a full episode of Daryl which imo is worth it.
