Not sure what to make of this, so take it with a grain of salt, but my brother says he saw a tweet that said that a Gulfstream private jet, apparently belonging to the Maple Leafs, is parked at Calgary's airport….

Few players are in Calgary this time of season so I'm not sure why a Leafs plane would be out here unless Treliving came down to tie some loose ends for his move to Toronto.

This may not not be a popular opinion but I keep seeing Brodie's name being brought up and I for one was happy when he finally left as I am just not a fan of the player. Seems like Toronto feels the same way now so why entertain recycling Toronto's bargain bin ? The idea of seeing Brodie in Flames ilks again kinda aggitates me lol.

They wouldnt.
however, if a player was here that a GM covets and needs to sell on extending before trading for him, and he has permission from the players current team to do so, then that would be something that occurs.

Most certainly they do at some points. Face to face negotiations are just of a different nature than other communications. If the Flames are potentially trading players that need to be extended (IE all of the rumoured players they want to trade), I could see Toronto's management meeting with them in person too.
