Gaby Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe are now 2-0 at the WTA Finals as they defeated the tandem of Siegemund and Zvonareva 6-4 6-2

So, this Zverev - Humbert match is getting spicy late here in set 3 and there's still two matches scheduled to be played today. Jannik Sinner might not get on court before 1 am Paris time Thursday morning.

Darn, Ugo was up a break in set 3, but got broken late and then ultimately lost to Zverev in the 3rd set tie-break.

Holger makes pretty quick work of Thiem 6-4 6-2. Sinner is on court as I type.

Guaranteed spot in the semis I think.

Yeah, they have yet to drop a set as well. If Coco and Jpeg defeat Krejčíková and Siniakova tonight in doubles, that would for sure punch their ticket.

Well, since Stef knocked out Felix, the only decent thing to do would be to eliminate Zverev today.

Jannik Sinner has withdrawn from the Paris Masters and the match scheduling is the reason for him withdrawing. You can't expect guys to play into the wee hours of the morning and then be ready to play 12-14 hours later.

Oh no, Stef just wrenched something in his lower leg/ankle area. This doesn't look good.
Edit: Seems to be okay for now and the match has resumed.

yeah, tennis scheduling is pretty dumb, what other sport do you not know exactly when you're playing?

Oikos almost let the first set slip away, but prevails in the tie-break. Okay Stef, now finish him.

I'm pleased to report that good has triumphed over evil. Not exactly the cleanest of matches from Tsitsipas (that backhand wing is still shaky at times), but Zverev was spraying the ball all over the court today (especially on the forehand).

Once again I'm just a lonely tennis fan standing in front of you, asking for a big title for Grigor Dimitrov

Normally, I would agree, but we need both Hubi and Holger to make a deep run in Paris to knock Zverev out of the ATP Finals.

Grigor sends Hubi packing and is into the semis .... resisting the urge to overhype the Grigorenaissance

Well, I believe that knocks Hubi out of Turin. Both Hubi and Grigor have had excellent seasons, if Grigor decides to win the Paris Masters, that's fine by me.

This is the best tennis Tsitsipas has played in 2023, serving great and I think his forehand is in the top 5 on the ATP tour. Usually it's the backhand that opponents exploit, but it's been very good this week.
