I started in on the first 2 episodes, and I think they’re pretty good so far. I don’t think it is wholly dissimilar from Band of Brothers.
My only thing is, is Jon Bernthal a soldier or a cop in every show he is in?

Surely Beyond the Sea? I don't think it touched the prime of the show (15 Million Merits, White Christmas), but it was the best episode since USS Callister.
I really hope Netflix take this show out the back and shoot it. Charlie Brooker is a genius, but he is out of ideas and it is painful watching this once great premise being distorted and shaped into something so tacky and boring.

Beyond The Sea.
Agree with what was said above. Not the best of all time, but it’s probably a top 5 episode for me.

My top five, in order:
1. White Christmas
2. Entire History of You
3. San Junipero
4. USS Callister
5. 15 Million Merits
Beyond the Sea is definitely scratching at fifth place, as is Striking Vipers. Nosedive is in the top 10, too.

So tough to pick 5. Your list is good. Mine would be a little different;
1. San Junipero
2. USS Callister
3. Entire History of You
4. White Bear
5. Shut up and Dance
White Christmas would be next up.

It's a good list. I'd just offer a couple honorable mentions.
Escape at Dannemora
Dopesick
Dr. Horrible's Sing-along-blog.
"V"
John Adams
Angels in America
American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson
Wandavision (yes, I said it. It's really good).

That's about 2 lifetimes. In that time no one told people in their inner circle about what earth is all about? Stars, waterfalls, animals.... all wiped from memory?
No one stops to think, the Silo exists in what? No one knows what a planet is? They know all about physics and technology in general but have zero concept of the literal universe they exist in? That's about the greatest suspension of disbelief ever.

I'm on episode five of The Leftovers, and it just isn't doing it for me. No idea what's going on, and I haven't latched onto a single character enough to care.
Has anybody watched this? Does it improve?
