Yikes. After a very clean game yesterday for both teams, it’s been messy so far. Lots of mistakes from both teams.

I have no idea why a guy with Chourio’s speed wouldn’t be back at second base as soon as he sees a pop fly. He’s got so much speed that he could have scored if it had dropped. That’s just stupid baseball.

ETA: Love when guys admire their singles…

Yeah obviously the big hit vs the Twins but as mentioned, before that after the Pham comments, and since, he’s been beyond brutal.

Then he loses a ball in the sun and even that last hit from Contrares he maybe could’ve caught it at the wall if he picked up the ball properly.

Fantastic two throws by Straw this inning. One to hold the runner and second to get the runner.

We really can’t afford to go to the bullpen early with the current pitching situation. We might need to pull Lauer from the rotation at some point to get some length in the bullpen…even with the extra guy coming up tomorrow.

Pittsburgh up 1-0 on a wild pitch.

What's interesting about the Brewers is they just seem to hit the ball to the right part of the ball park. They have 5 homeruns this series. 4 of them have been under 360'. They've only hit one ball over 390' and it was a fly out.

That strike 2 pitch to Clement was an awfully generous call to a guy who threw one over Bo's head this inning.

That was a very dumb play again by the Brewers.

Middle of lineup with guys on base snuffed out.

I get those kind of aggressive plays against a pitcher who is dominating and you are trying to create something out of nothing but Max has been grinding since the first pitch.

Max getting some help from the defenders (besides Barger). Brewers don’t need to push these plays.

As a big Whalers’ fan, it’s funny that Springer didn’t see the M and B in the logo. The Whalers have creatively done the exact same thing.
