Besides his Grey Cup performance this is my favorite memory of Deangelis.

There was barely any time left, the Stampeders were down by 2 points, I remember my dad saying we should go, but I told him we were going to stay, haha. We quickly moved down the field and Sandro hit the field goal with no time left on the clock.

Montreal Alouettes have signed K Sandro DeAngelis.... Just when Sean Whyte may finally have his chance. Big TC Battle at the K spot.

I think Whyte is currently better then Sandro, plus they gave up a 1st for Whyte. So Whyte will win imo.

There is nothing wrong with Maver as a kicker. A lof of CIS kickers go through troubles during their first year. Maver nailed them for the first 10 games of the season. Leg strenght came into issue with the length of the CFL season vs CIS. It happens to most. Maver will come back strong this year.

He missed 11 yard field goals as well. Maver needs to be better.

STAMPEDERS ADD SEVEN PLAYERS TO ROSTER BEFORE CAMP

Stampeder head coach and GM John Hufnagel also announced Tuesday that left tackle Edwin Harrison suffered a torn pectoral muscle while working out last week and won't participate in training camp. Harrison was a candidate to replace all-star Ben Archibald, who signed with the B.C. Lions in the off-season.
