Going to be one long winter, and spring. We accomplished so much, so many question marks coming into the season. We did a lot of great things, but the thing that Huffnagel talked about all season 2 and outs, and being consistent on offence came back and bit us in the ass. Burris had 38 touchdowns, and looked great, and then there was the 20 interceptions and Frank who showed up tonight.

Hard loss to swallow, we are easily the better team, but discipline, and turnovers have been this team achilles heel for a long time.

I'm not.

Outside of one fluke season where he wanted to prove something to his critics he is BRUTAL when the pressure is on.

BRUTAL. But the entire Stampeders franchise is BRUTAL with pressure.

That's why I'm done. Screw those losers.

The Riders are a good team. Full value for the win....and, this year, they found their 13th man. He was wearing stripes the whole game. Not only were the actual penalty calls horribly one-sided....the non-calls were actually worse. How many discretionary possession-changes and second-down calls were there that preserved their drives or ended ours? You'd better get up on Saskatchewan by a bunch, it seems, because a close game is always going their way.

Burris forgot that you could run the ball yourself for whatever reason.

Well, I was prepared to watch the injury destroyed 'riders lose to Calgary in horrible fashion...now I'll have to watch them lose to Montreal in a blowout.

Why do they have to give me hope?

Now we get to hear all week about how the Riders learned from last year and it's a different team and their out for revenge bla bla bla.

Als will kill them.

Edit: Speaking of choke artists, Wings just tie it up with 3 seconds left lol.

I really, really hope the Riders lose in the exact same fashion as they did last year. That's the only way this CFL season can be redeemed, a hilarious repeat of stupidity.

He just saved you some time. Not sure why you would want to be on here if you don't want to know the Flames score.

I hope the Als win 400-0, although it might be difficult for the refs to choose which team to favor.

Typical game from Big Game Burris.

Cut this guy loose. The pressure comes calling, he goes into hiding. Time to cut our losses and introduce Drew Tate as the #1.

You sir, should not go on a Flames forum if you don't want to see the scores.

Yep. That or go into the year with a very, very short leash. Any indication of Frank whatsoever should be enough to put is ass on the bench for the rest of the game.

When you have a QB that is unwilling to run the ball in the CFL, you gotta let him go. Unless you are Calvillo.

I still blame the f-ing horrible play calling on both sides of the ball.
Stupid stupid stupid.

I pretty sure I'm done with this league after that display of officiating.

Why did I pay good money to sit in -20C weather to watch the refs turn 2 FGs into TDs for the Riders and have that 8 point swing be the difference in the game?

Neither team could do anything on offense - the difference was the Riders got 2 bullsh*t second chances from inside the 5 and the Stamps didn't. Throw in a brutal review on an inconclusive call (at best) and garbage like Rambo getting 15 yards for flexing his muscles all combined with the Riders having 3 penalties (a time count, offsides, and an illegal block - ONE judgement call) and how do you win?

Either that game was fixed or the incompetence of the CFL has a ridiculous effect on the games.

I've said it before and honestly at this point I'm pretty close to throwing in the towel for good with this shameful league.

I'm almost positive I'm not renewing my season's tickets after this mess.
