I hate how after you sim a period and are up 3-0 and you come in and the announcers are like "After that goal the Oilers have it tied up, with momentum in their favour".

Uh WTF? It's 3-0 flames!

Or they say the name of a player that has scored to decrease the lead that I don't even have on my team. (It was always Boyd).

Last year I didn't have as big a problem with the announcers, but this year i had to turn them off within 5 games. Every penalty they rip on you for being stupid, and every powerplay they imply that you took a dive. I had him say "you can see the stick around the dude's skates" twice in a single game and lost my ability to take it anymore.

Does anybody know how long DNF negative multiplier will affect my puck bonuses? Thanks to a couple disconnects, including in a tourney final, its something like 1.2 and it doesn't seem to be going down. Any info is appreciated.

Yeah I'm pretty pissed about this myself. I've had the wireless on my xbox drop a couple of times during single player tournaments, and now I'm getting hosed with a 1.2 DNF multiplier too.

I was playing someone last thursday when the EA servers were shut down for service and I got a loss and a disconnect for it.

Been reading some people having issues with cross creasers, one way to get cross crease passes to occasionally work is saucer passing instead of regular pass. Passes from behind goal line to front also work for one-timers still.

I am glad they cut down the amount that work though, used to be way too easy, now you actually have to work for them.

I've turned the announcers off ever since '09 due to their endless nattering about ties vs shootouts. I turned on ties and every time a game ended up tied they would go on about how lame and unsatisfying a tie was. Every time there was a shootout they'd praise it like god's gift to hockey.

I basically saw a recreation of Langkow's injury today where I took a slap shot from the point just as Rick Nash got hip checked and sent airborne and my slapshot bounced off of his head.

They need to change the stupid animation where it hits the goalie and lies on his back with him doing a 360 swatting it out. I see it at least a few times a game... and it never goes in.

i really hope they fix the penalties in the 1st patch.

It's ridiculous, in the 18 games of regular season, i've been on the powerply 17 times, and shorthanded 56 times. Most of the calls against me are weak as eff, and the same things against the computer are not called.

I get disconnected after the 1st period in EAHL club games. It's damn frustrating. I don't disconnect anywhere else.

Anyone having a lof of freezing issues with the game? I can barely get through a game without a freeze. I'm not sure if its the game or my xbox, but it doesn't seem to freeze much when I'm playing something else.

Not sure, mine is fine. I used to freeze all the time in NHL 10 at the "lobby" screen for EASHL games, and I mean always. But I haven't been playing this much lately but I never froze.

I disconnect a lot in EASHL though.

anyone else experience a sudden choppiness/lag in single player be a pro mode in the defensive end corners? I had this happen in nhl10, but it also happens in 11 :/ kind of annoying since I am being a dman
