I hope they don't do Catwoman.

It's been all but confirmed at this point, that's who Hathaway is playing. I'm not worried. I have faith in Nolan. Although, am I the only one who enjoys TDK a little less with each viewing? The Joker is outstanding, but outside of that and the cinematography, the movie isn't that great. Very stilted dialogue and a few too many unbelievable scenarios for me. Batman Begins was a much better movie overall.

They are doing Catwoman. Anne Hathaway has been officially cast as Selina Kyle.

Tom Hardy has stated that he needs to get up to 200 pounds for the role. As Christopher Nolan likes to keep the movies plausible, therefore Bane will not be his traditional comic book size.

Nope, you're not the only one. Batman Begins was crafted better. Dark Knight was too long, and the Joker's grand finale scheme was just a dud.

Holy smokes he's going to be thick. Being pretty small/average size (5'9") I can't think he was more that 170-180 in Inception. 30 pounds of muscle is a lot to gain. He's going to be one beefy dude.

Big meh on catwoman for me. Don't see how she can fit in without it being forced or corny.

Very hesitant on this movie. Third movie syndrome.

No way. I'm 5'8" and 165 and Hardy is quite a bit thicker than me. I'd guess he was North of 190 for Inception.

^^^ Really? I think Catwoman is one of the villains that would fit into Nolan's universe quite easily. She has no supernatural abilities, she fits into the escalation plot, and his love interest died in the last one leaving an interesting emotional conflict for Batman.

I'm wrong. Hardy is currently around 170-175. Still think he might've been a bit bigger for Inception, but could've also been his clothing.

Personally if I were to go with a female villian, I would think that Haley Quinn would have been the better way to go.

the story is there, the Joker in Arkham slowly seduces his head shinker, she hatches a plot to distract Batman so that Joker can escape, but he foils it in the end. You wouldn't even need to see the Joker or hear from him.

Plus Haley Quinn could be played by Hathaway.

I really don't think Catwoman will be a villain proper. More like an anti-hero.

the miracles of CGI, Hardy will probably go from 5'9" 190 to 7 feet tall 350 with a press of the return key.

I think it would be a hard sell without the Joker.

Doubtful. Nolan hates CGI and tries to use it as sparingly as possible.

That thread was so great, I decided not to post in it, I didn't want to comprise it's hilarity.

Hipster nerd.
