congrats to eddychan. takes it in 7.
lol, I chucked my controller after the OT loss in game 6 and my LT button was jammed. Sorry to quit, I just couldn't take not being able to play. (its why I kept getting those slashing penalties and my D didn't skate). But that was a good series, frustrating as ever, but good series.

WOW! Damn man that was an EPIC series. Every game almost gave me a heart attack! Way too close. Didn't think I could beat you.
lol game 6 was just insane, the way the series was going though it just HAD to go to 7.
I didn't get my achievement though because of the quit in game 7  but it's all good.
Great series. Thanks to everyone who competed. Now on to season 2!

I can't find where, but I think our GM mentioned that he's done with NHL 10. I think it was after he played Jayems in the playoffs. I think I said the same thing after I played Jayems too

I'll roll the league forward this weekend. I think we only have 1 empty spot so far (which was already claimed by a guy). I'm unsure as to whether I'm going to continue to play/ I'll decide today. This game is really starting to get to me, and I don't know if I can go through another season. It has nothing to do with the players in the league. All the games I've played in the league have been great. It's just some ofthe bugs, gameplay (board play specifically), and absolutely brutal AI are frustrating me to the point of not wanting to play the game anymore. If I don't play, I'll rollforward the league, make Jayems commish, and withdraw.

I totally get that MJM, kinda takes away from the game when you outshot someone 30-5 and lose 2-1 on two buggy goals...(grrrr).
Would anyone be interested in starting up the CP EASHL club team again? I'm having a really hard time finding a club and, as previously mentioned, am a little frustrated with the 1v1 play right now.
EDIT: Not that playing in this league would be like that...just frustrated at the 1v1 in general!

It's like the online version of the Be a Pro Mode. But your teammates would be other online players rather than the computer controlled.
So you would pick a position, and you would be that position for the whole game, and I would do the same. Your performance is tracked, so you can upgrade your online player. I think it's pretty fun, and I played eashl exclusively in last years game.
I can start a team when I get home tonight and send the info here.
