What do you figure constitutes a glitch goal in nhl10? I haven't seen any yet, and I've played about 30 games online so far.

Still having a lot of trouble in my Be a GM mode.
I'm on Superstar/Hardcore...and the computer just CANNOT score on me. It's to the point that it's not fun. I've played 6 games and have outscored the CPU 20-2. One of the goals came after I made my goalie play it...right to the opposition. Anyone else having this problem?

Will EA ever make a hockey game where the AI has a higher intelligence level than a 13 year-old child with Downs Syndrome? It's awesome when I get the puck in the offensive zone, cycle while looking for an open man, and my guys stand in the same position until I lose the puck. None of them think to head to the front of the net either.

It's the game style rather then the game skill level. It's effects the physics and skills of players (CPU and your player your controlling) between Casual, Default, Normal, and Hardcore.

I am starting to get really effing frustrated with EA and their stupid servers.

I haven't been able to get through a full game without dropping in 3 days, and it has nothing to do with my connection. This is the only game I have that this happens with.

Jobo, do you have anything to sooth my rage about this? I am raging hard at how stupid it is I can't play a game I paid good money for.

EA's servers are pretty shoddy. I don't know why, but I had the same problem in 09 as well. I'll see if I can get in contact with someone out here abouts it.

No problems at all with the XBOX 360 EA servers so far, not one disconnect and no noticable lag.

We always seem to have someone with this issue. I had it towards the beginning of last season, and then Wood had it towards the end of the year. Not sure why EA hates the Fatas

So now my game says

"FlashWalken is CONNECTING TO THE EA SERVERS" and in the right top corner it also says "WAITING FOR USER" and is frozen.

Have you played with the CPU aggression, CPU accuracy and human goalie sliders at all? I'm in the same boat as you except I can't score, so I win all my games 1-0 in OT or a shootout. Once I get the scoring down I was thinking of playing with those sliders. Hopefully they don't just make everything cheap.

Game much more easier than NHL 09 imo, or atleast I should say online play.

- Scoring is easier (cross passes, one timers... wtf?).
- Playing Defence is easier.
- Push Puck (aka Speed Burst) is overpowering.
- Dangling and spliting D is a routine thing.
- Penalty shots make a difference.
- Board play makes the game interesting but doesn't make forechecking as effective.
- Much more 'random' goals in 10 than 09.

I know someone who did a test with a friend... they created identical players, height, weight, attributes, etc

Then, one boosted his speed from 81 to 89, while the other stayed at 81... they went into an OTP, raced goalline to goalline and said that they had identical speeds every single time. interesting

i have heard rumblings like that on other boards as well.

Yeah, I will admit I bought it (because I am Bouwmeester, I have to be fast), and it doesn't do anything. My friend's speed isn't even in the 80's, mine is 83 + 5 boost, and I am faster, but not much faster.

"What was both their acceleration?"

He doesn't have an answer. That could 'level' it out.

very valid point, but if they took the time to make the players the same height and weight, we can only assume that they made the acceleration the same as well.
