I think people wanted a grace period to give them time for picking up the game, etc. Something like that, anyway.
I'm thinking about doing a little quick-and-dirty mini-season with 5 people, 1 game against each other person. I want to iron out any technical issues with on-line seasons before we start the real one.
There would have to be a stipulation that you aren't allowed to use the team you've selected for the main season though. This isn't about giving people practice time, it's just about testing the online league functionality.
Anyone interested? We'll have to be fast though, so if you don't have the time to commit right now, don't sign up. I'd like this to be done by the end of next Sunday (27th).

Thats exactly what happened, I was passed out by the back door sleeping on my shoe and for some reason the game was on the floor, she got one of my controllers and the couch!

I might be a stand by right now, Schools starting to pick up and the workloads could eat up my evenings.

Wow that really sucks. I heard from some guy at EB games that 5% of the NHL 10 games are messed up and they'll just give you a new one. So if you can get a new box, try returning it and see if that works. Worth the shot than paying another $70

We're not starting until Oct. 2. Not everybody even has the game yet.
I'm doing a small 5-team trial run (see earlier post) to iron out some of the issues that might pop up before we start the real thing.
