Do you really believe that? I would say that there are deep seeded issues with the reservation system that we have set up in Canada in which people don't learn how to properly integrate into modern society. You can't say that an entire race of people don't care about commercial enterprise because they are made up of unique personalities (obviously) and past that on an individual level everyone knows the story about the 18 year old native who gets a new truck with band money and goes out and buys a new truck with is promptly wrecked.... Of course. It's just reverse-racism to assume that aboriginal people are some sort of innocent Adam and Eve type of ideal human. They are exactly the same as us.

Funny how people focus on this piece of road and blame the natives for its lack of execution.

Oh, if only people knew just how much politicing is responsible for some of the disastrous road designs in Calgary.

And good for you on earning that degree. Honestly, I mean that. 99% of the money we send to the reserves is turned into nothing. Good to see you turned your share into something.

But so long as you choose to blame everyone else for the corruption of your own leaders, then yes, you are lazy. Stand up for yourself and for your community. If you actually believe there is an injustice there, then fight it. If not, you only perpetuate it.
