And Culpepper is released. Another drama finally over.
Who is going to take a chance on him? Bears, perhaps?

Someone will pick him up as a backup qb. Culpepper thinks he will get a starting job somewhere, I highly doubt it.

I actually think Culpepper's got some juice left in him, I can see him getting close to back to previous form...just not this season. I doubt he'll he even be playing in '07, let alone starting.

Anyone who blows out their knee always seems to require 1 extra year to get back to form. (looks around to make sure no one in my pools are here) Carson Palmer did pretty well last year, but this year he will be a monster. The Bengals D may as well install a turnstile on the jail so Carson will be putting up big points. I'd have him ranked #2 among QBs (Peyton will need to also put up some big numbers again, as usual).

He'll be starting in Atlanta by the end of training camp.

Yeah I can agree with that. I'd rank the top four fantasy QB's in this order:
1. Payton Manning
2. Carson Palmer
3. Drew Brees
4. Tom Brady

If McNabb stays healthy he could be as high as #2. He absolutely dominated the first 8 games of the season last year.
Also are you having a conversation with yourself?

wow, huge loss for the team. Glen is defintley one of the elite o-lineman in this league. Polian traded the Colts 1st rounder next year to draft Ugoh, but the kid wasen't suppose to be ready till next year. Defintley a big problem now for the Colts with only a week till camp. Polian is one of the most talented at uncovering talent in the league so hopefully he's got something up his sleeve.

Priest Holmes is planning on reporting to Chiefs camp. Take that Larry Johnson!
Too funny.
I'm pretty sure those two don't appreciate each other...Holmes may end up helping KC weather the storm with LJ.

Yeah, I think the Chiefs might be planning to use Holmes as a way of making LJ come to camp. Holmes was a great athlete and a training freak prior to his injury. But at his age in football....can he come back? Sentimental me likes to think so....but thinking me says no chance in hell and with a weaker line he wouldn't be able to handle the work load of a starter and won't average 3 yards a carry.

Yeah, I agree with you.
I think the world of him as a person and a player, but a lot of time has passed.
He's really the antithesis of LJ. Team first guy with a great off the field personality.
Still, it does hurt LJ's cause just a bit I think.

Warrick Dunn had back sugery and will miss at least 3-4 weeks.
Curtis Martin officially retired today.
Odell Thruman had his request for re-instatement denied.
Chiefs signed Kyle Turley.

He was last camp, but they moved him back to tackle by the end of preseason.. I believe he was with the Chiefs all year but didn't play all that much.
