No that's not what I'm saying.
The team is deserving of criticism including for the recent PR blunders, which were totally unnecessary and further undermined fan confidence.
But within the range of media coverage 960 cannot attack the team with the same intensity that others can. Steinberg pretty much said it in a recent post game show, acknowledging that as the broadcast partner, you aren't going to hear some of the same takes you hear elsewhere.
FN is in a good position where they can be more critical, and therefore it's smart when there is something negative going on, they really focus in on it. I think it is both a legitimate perspective to take, but also an intentional strategy on their part. I suspect the opinions, by some of the folks on their shows, represent their real views, but probably dialed up a little (or a lot).
As for Francis, he gets a lot of criticism on this site, which I've never fully understood. I think his work this season on the team has been balanced and strong.
