Well because of the approach at the plate. The rarely strike out, don't chase out of the zone. So basically no way the Jays can beat Yankees, Mariners and Dodgers if they aren't cheating. According to their fans

In that 6th inning, there were 22 or 28 off the plate pitches. The Jays swung at 4 of them.

The implication is, like the Astros and Red Sox before them, they know what's coming at home. All the noise is coming from the two largest (and most erroneously entitled) fan bases.

They demonstrated the same offense in New York and Seattle though too. Hasn’t all come at home.

Correct. That's why it's stupid.

Again, this is all noise coming from two fan bases who feel that because they are who they are they should be winning the world series every season, regardless of any other information. And if they don't it was something hinky happening.

The at bats this team takes on a regular basis are absolutely stunning. I remember the announcer saying after the Lukes at bat in the 6th, that the Jays batters had fouled off 28 pitches at that point. They grind and grind and grind, and they don't swing at junk and hardly strike out. Plus they can hit for average AND power. A pitchers worst nightmare.

Lukes turned an 0-2 pitch count into a walk.

Heading down to the Skydome in about 3 hours. Starting to get that nervous excitement. Hoping for a great game.

This city is electric right now. Jays gear everywhere. Landed last night at Pearson just in time to see the 9 run inning at an Airport Merch store.

Have beer #1 in front me as we speak.

Go Jays

Gimenez was down 0-2 before his single.

I stopped caring about baseball when that strike ended the Expos’ likely Series win and the team left.

I’m caring now.

No Bichette in the starting lineup today. Hopefully he's able to come off the bench to pinch hit (if required).

Hope it's not a setback, though I'm not sure what else it could be. He look great at 2nd with a fantastic play to save a run and get a hard out, and looked very comfortable at the plate as well

That also lines up Scherzer for a potential game 7
