They found a diamond in Pachal but unfortunately Bean is what he is. Gotta rotate players in now. Probably worst period defensively of the season. They need more stay at home guys similar to Bahl to play this style. No need for Bean and Barrie, undersized and getting bullied out there

Was just thinking - this is the Flames against a good team when Wolf has a less than superhuman night. This is what the Jets game should have looked like but for him.

Bean missing that on the far side is a bad mistake. Could get ugly if the Flames open it up. Really would not mind if Conroy tried to make a splash for a left hand top 4 dman this offseason in the free agent market.

That's more on everyone else than it was Bean IMO.

Andersson pinches, then both Huberdeau and Kadri didn't recognize the pinch and when Bean misses the net it's an odd man rush.

Forwards not helping the dmen out here at all, and Wolf getting beat clean on both probably wants both back.

Brad is a such a sellout.

Leaves us with his disaster to run to Tor-ronno. Boo him.

Our 4th line gets its head caved in every game.

And Lombo is a lovable idiot. This loss is on him as much as anyone.

Rooney is a crash test dummy. Can’t pick a fight every time he gets rocked.

Well, yeah probably.

We were slated as a lottery team. Making the playoffs is probably rhe seasons peak

Yeah but Bean shouldn’t shoot in that position then. He had a lot of time to assess.

Bean and Barry must only be played sparingly.

They killed that penalty off...the difference in the games is a couple poor pinches

Wolf not helping his Calder chances with all the Toronto media watching tonight.

Not saying he's having a bad game, but not as good as we've seen, that's for sure.

Not sure how you pinch on a rush chance. Kadri is not going to hold up at the line on an odd man rush. The entire reason that Bean is that open is because the Flames had numbers and the leafs collapsed. Bean has to get that shot on net or go short side.

This is what happens against a skill team when your left side is Hanley, Bean and Barrie

I've seen him look much harder to beat 1v1.

Pretty glaring mistakes by Huberdeau on both 3-on-1s.

He had traffic and a lane.

It's probably more on Huberdeau. He shouldn't have collapsed down after making the pass to Bean.

If he's covering the right point or stays where he was when he made the pass then the puck probably goes right to him.

Exactly. A lot of players are just playing their own game out there. Results like this are to be expected.
