Totally agree. Refs always seem to miss or ignore some things but must have a mandate to call slashes to hands.

Usually I give the refs a break, but that was a brutal call. As a ref understand the game situation. You just gave a 5-3, it is a tie game with 5 minutes left, and the slashing call was very soft (not egregious). You do NOT make that call IMO.

Flames played pretty well for the last 2/3 of the game. Much more impressed with them this year than I thought I'd be.

Yes, though Zary got flattened by 2 crosschecks in the slot from Vilardi and then Stanely after Kadri tied the game.

Both were textbook penalties as well...

The refs suck in this league. But keep your dam sticks down and don’t put yourself in a position they can make a call.

I had some moan about the penalty for PI with Eagles and Chiefs. Yeah it’s soft but your grabbed his jersey and put yourself in a position to get called.

These professionals who make millions of dollars. You need to learn how to keep your stick down and not hook hold and slash.
