One game does not make a series but the team plays entirely different in front of DeSmith. Just more timid and much less aggressive in the offensive zone. It honestly just looks like the wind is out of their sails which is disappointing.

It's a domino effect though.

Don't trust your goalie so you start squeezing your stick more, and take fewer risks. In turn you generate less offense.

At this point Canucks should just open it up, they are going to have to outscore their issues and be the team from the first 30 games of the season if they are going to survive with Demko out.

That’s like the Flames when we had Kipper. Had to have him play 70 plus because the team looks like ass in front of the backup.
