I definitely wasn't in the Europe crowd, but also not dreaming up a wild scenario where he's a second line winger in this league
He might be Byron-lite offensively with a shorter nhl career

But ... that's also basically the player I think he'll be. He's a lot like Byron. Don't project what you think I think.
I think Byron, Tyler Ennis, Gerbe are very reasonable comps and I have not said otherwise. Argue with what I say, not what you've imagined I've said.

Scratch sharangovich and put Kadri on the next rocket to the sun.

How many years left on Kadri's contract?
Asking for a very sad friend who is a Flames fan.

You obviously didn't watch his games in the AHL like some of us did. That is a Matthew Phillips goal and it was in no way a fluke.

I might buyout Huberdeau first at this rate.

The Flames are known for making the right calls on skilled forwards so I would not worry.

Why can't Hrudey call it like it is. Markstrom has looked good this season but had a rough second period. Then move on. Him repeatedly going out of the way to make excuses is awkward and not fun to watch.

In the battle of the two very highly paid forwards, Huberdeau is definitely winning the battle so far. At least he's been noticeable and had some chances. I forgot Kadri was playing. For a team that may be struggling for goals this year he really needs to start being a reliable offensive player up front, they really need him to do anything in the offensive zone.

Well thank goodness. At least you're not totally out of touch.
You're still glorifying his plays on those goals a bit and using them as confirmation of anything knowing how the Flames are is silly.

I won't worry because the player has given me no reason to worry.
Just because different people made a bad decision on a completely different player has no relevance here.

You obviously are making assumptions because I do in fact have AHL TV. He got a stick on it and it went straight up under the bar, it just as easily could have gone over the net. I also saw a guy that once the playoffs began spent more time on his ass than on his feet.

The Flames need to find a way to put Kadri on LTIR for the next 6 years.

If I scored against the team that didn’t give me a shot my #### and balls would be out 100%. It was a beautiful goal.

Yeah. I hope Phillips has a good career but I don’t he’ll be a player that they will miss.

Blame Conroy.
He's the guy who wouldn't give Matty a one-way contract.
Sutter was long gone when that happened.

He was doing that back in the Dub with the Royals too. He was always putting himself in the right spots to pot goals and dish out helpers. Matty has a hunger you can't teach.

I dunno...maybe I'm seeing something that's not there. But I've genuinely been impressed with Huby today. Like I can see the talent. Now that he's playing well, guys need to learn how to play with him.
But I'm encouraged that when they do, he might actually be a really fun and productive player.
