Clap for the Wolfman! Redeems himself after his terrible outing verses the Kraken.

His compete is at an 11.
That’s how he makes up for his size. One more compete than everyone else in the game.

Hunt, Ruzicka, and Zary impressed me. The first two have consistently made their case to stay with the team. Zary knocking on the door a little as well. Good to see the kids playing as well as they are.

The Pelletier injury definitely puts more eyes on Zary.

His realistic competition is what, Duehr, Hunt, Rooney, Klapka?
No reason why he can't make a good run at a spot. And realistically two of those guys could be on the roster.

Wolf felt the added competition from Andrei Medvedev who's still listed in the yahoo sports boxscore on the Flames roster. I guess the Flames still supply a decent spread and per diem that he'd show up?
Funny to see all these old names listed.

A great game from the Zadorov - Weegar pairing.
Rooney - Hunt were also noticeable quite a bit.
A couple of highlight reel saves from Wolf. I didn't really notice Mangiapane until the shootout, but I got to say I loved his shot there.
Ruzicka showed some good creativity in the offensive zone.
Zary's toe drag was amazing.

What a save on that final shot. Hasn’t been a great Preseason for Wolf so far. But he was solid tonight, and it’s very exciting, having a goaltending prospect like him in the system. Love athletic quick goaltenders.
