Lack of experience?
Maybe he would just naturally be some amazing coach but that is relying on hope rather than anything he has shown over his career.
I hope we are relying on more than hope/luck when looking at coaches (and players.)

On Tanguay being on Team Canada's staff... Weegar was interviewed earlier in the tourney and without being prompted, brought up how much he's learned from Tanguay so far... I think Seravelli may have been the one who mentioned it, so take it with a big grain of salt...

His high hockey IQ has been mentioned a lot.
They talked about how he knew that he wasn't going to shoot a lot and when he would shoot he knew he would score that's why he had a high shooting %.
