I'm not disagreeing with you, maybe you're right, although I'm not going to take your assessment as fact cause you watched some highlights over the years. Barkov is known for his great 2 way game and unreal skill, he was the number 1 centre on Florida, they still didn't have playoff success.
Regardless of all that, Huberdeau is a Flame for a long time, whether we like it or not. Its imperative that he, the coaching staff and management find ways to all put each other in positions to succeed. We haven't seen that top to bottom this year. That includes his performance, includes Sutters deployment/line combos and BTs inability to acquire the necessary pieces that made him atleast a high end regular season producer.
Hopefully its a transition year and his struggles can be figured out during the offseason. I refuse to believe you can be well above a point producing forward playing with Bennet and Duclair, to not even half of that a year later on a new team. Something is going on and IMO coaching has a large part to do that. He is our problem now so best be prepared to figure out a solution.
